TWave S.L., a technology company specialised in condition monitoring and vibration analysis for industrial rotating machinery, is launching an innovation challenge within the GreenStep framework.

The objective is to collaborate with industrial partners interested in developing and validating an Artificial Intelligence solution capable of performing autonomous vibration diagnostics.

While vibration monitoring systems are widely deployed across energy and industrial sectors, advanced interpretation of vibration data still relies heavily on specialised human analysts. This limits scalability and prevents organisations from fully exploiting the large volumes of historical vibration data already available.

Through this challenge, TWave is seeking collaboration with industrial companies willing to contribute historical vibration datasets or provide access to operational machinery where monitoring systems can be deployed. These data will support the development and validation of AI models capable of automatically identifying typical machinery faults such as bearing defects, imbalance, misalignment, looseness and structural issues.

The initiative aims to accelerate the digitalisation of predictive maintenance, improve asset reliability and reduce unplanned downtime in energy-intensive industries.

The collaboration may lead to pilot projects, joint R&D initiatives and further European innovation activities within the GreenStep ecosystem.
